The Tallest Man on Earth

Following your purchase of a fine pair of earphones from ipad accessories uk, why not have a little listen to the dulcet tones of The Tallest Man on Earth. Kristian Matsson, a singer-songwriter from Dalarna in Sweden, performs under the moniker The Tallest Man on Earth. Born on April 30th 1983, Matsson plays piano, banjo and guitar. Composing and singing his songs in English, critics have compared Matsson to Bob Dylan in terms of vocal style and songwriting.

Since 2006, Matsson has released two albums, Shallow Grave of 2008 and The Wild Hunt of 2010. Matsson has also released two full-length EP’s, The Tallest Man on Earth of 2006 and Sometimes the Blues is Just a Passing Bird of 2010. Matsson’s released singles are: The Gardner; The King of Spain; Pistol Dreams; The Dreamer; Weather of a Killing Kind.

Apart from being amazingly talented, intelligent and bilingual, he is also absolutely gorgeous! One could say Kristian Matsson is rather genetically blessed.

To Kill a Mockingbird

To Kill a Mockingbird, published in 1960, is a novel by Harper Lee and a modern American classic. The author’s observations of her neighbours and family loosely provide the plot and characters as does an occurrence in 1936 near Lee’s hometown when she was 10 years old.

Atticus Finch, the narrator’s father, has served as a model of integrity for lawyers and a moral hero for many readers. One critic wrote, “In the twentieth century, To Kill a Mockingbird is probably the most widely read book dealing with race in America, and its protagonist, Atticus Finch, the most enduring fictional image of racial heroism.” The principal themes in To Kill a Mockingbird are racial injustice and the ruin of innocence. The book addresses the issues of compassion, class, gender roles, and courage within the setting of the American Deep South. The lessons the book offers are in tolerance and against prejudice. British libraries ranked To Kill a Mockingbird above the Bible as one “every adult should read before they die” in 2006. Certainly a worthwhile read as I’m sure flower delivery oxford would agree.

Baked beans

Baked Beans is a dish that contains usually stewed beans in a sauce and no r41 gold cards. Haricot beans (also known as navy beans) are most often the bean of choice added to sauce in commercial canned baked beans. A sugar and tomato sauce is most commonly used in the United Kingdom and Ireland whilst a variety of sauces are utilised in the United States.

The most common sauce type in the United States is comprised of beans in a tomato and brown sugar, corn syrup, or sugar sauce. Maple syrup is often utilised in Quebec and Maine baked beans. The sauce used in Boston baked beans is so popular it has lead to Boston being dubbed ‘Beantown’, the sauce being prepared with salt pork and molasses.

In the United Kingdom, baked beans are historically with Heinz. In 1886 Heinz Baked Beans were first sold in the very exclusive Fortnum & Mason, imported as luxury goods from the United States. The store continues to sell Heinz baked beans today amongst its expensive items, though now a low-priced product.

Shop For Yourself!

I don't understand why men (not all, but a vast majority that I have come across) cannot shop for themselves. My boyfriend just cannot buy himself anything on his own!

If he needs new jeans or wants to go shopping for any clothes he wants me to go with him, which I do because I'm a good and attentive girlfriend, but he's not happy at all if I go wandering off to look at women's clothes! And according to their girlfriends, all his friends are the same!

It's the same with online clothes shopping too! Last week he wanted to buy a baracuta jacket so I found it online for him, and even then he wanted me to order it for him! What is with him? I think he's just so adverse to clothes shopping he can't do it. If he's buying a new phone, iPod, computer or anything like that he's fine!

A Technology Amnesty

I have a great idea for a small company or charitable set up - a technology amnesty.

How many times have you had a broken camera, out of date phone, or old gaming device you frankly don't use any more?

Think of all the chargers, spare batteries, USB wires, power cables, remote controls and bits and bobs that end up getting thrown away because you don't know what else to do with them!

I need a new NP-45 battery charger for my camera because I lost my old one, and I'd love to take one off the hands of someone who doesn't use theirs any more, to save it going into landfill and save me some money as well.

I think it's a brilliant idea, I have plenty of stuff I could give away and have plenty of stuff that I need - someone make this happen!
