Why buy an R4

I'm not big on music, movie or gaming piracy, so I'm not going to tell you all the benefits of an R4 card for your Nintendo DS, DSi, Lite, XL or 3DS so you can go and steal products online.

I bought an R4 card a few months ago so I could have extra storage on my DSi XL, I wanted to be able to store things on it for when I was traveling long distance.

I've got a 32GB card and I've almost filled it with movies, music, photos, ebooks, and games that I've downloaded from the Nintendo store (some of them for free!), and they're all saved securely on that one little card.

It makes life so much easier, rather than carrying around loads of games, an mp3 player, books, DVDs and even a portable DVD player or a laptop! Nope, just me and my DS!

Disabled Dog gets his own stairlift?!

I was browsing the internet the other day, when I came across this brilliant little story that I had to share.

Henry, the bulldog, was to heavy to get up his narrow staircase without help, and so his owners have put in a stairlift for him to help him get up and down the stairs!

Ok, so it's not a Stannah Stairlift, and it's definitely not advisable to build your own stair lift for your nan to get up and down the stairs with, but for Henry this is the answer to all his prayers. Just look how happy he looks in his photo? No he can go up and down to his hearts content, providing his owners are there to press the button for him of course!

Private Cloud

Private cloud is the preferred enterprise cloud computing model that IT organisations like to use.

It is efficient, secure and gives companies more choice.

A website called privatecloud.com is a very helpful and full website giving details on cloud programmes, news and resources.

It is provided by industry experts and peers and has all the information and advice you will need to start the transition.
I highly recommend having a look.

Disorganisation woes...

I'm so disorganised with the stuff in my house, I can never find anything. I literally wear the same clothes in waves depending on how much washing I've done, or how far I dare delve into my wardrobe.

Well not any more, because I spent the whole of this last weekend clearing out my whole wardrobe all the way to the bottom, organising everything and giving away a few things I'll never wear again to charity shops.

I was flabbergasted by how many clothes I have, I found two pairs of Diesel jeans that I bought and only wore a couple of times because I gained some weight, but they fit me now! And I found two Gio Goi jackets that I got given at a festival a couple of years ago when my ex was playing and we were being spoilt backstage

I should clean out my wardrobe more often, I have way more clothes to wear now!

Stocking Up

I am off to Australia in the summer and as I love a good picture and want to make sure I get the right one with a cute koala I have stocked up on some digital camera batteries.

So instead of just carrying one battery and recharging it all the time, I will have three and so if I run out of one in the middle of the day I can whip out another and use that.

Also we are planning to be camping on some of the trip so there won’t be any mains to recharge the battery as well. So it is a really good idea to be stocked up!
